Credential Assembly Service (LSDAS) Law School Reports
After you send your application and other materials to Credential Assembly Service-requiring law schools, the schools will contact us directly to request your law school report.
There are five basic steps to complete your Credential Assembly Service (LSDAS) file.
- Register for Credential Assembly Service (LSDAS) and pay all required fees.
- Take the LSAT or use a prior LSAT score that is valid and reportable.
- Request that one official transcript be sent to LSAC from the registrar's office of each institution you attended.
- Ask recommenders to write letters and to send them to LSAC or to the law schools (as specified by each institution).
- Apply to law school(s). Once the law schools receive your completed application, they will contact us to request your law school report. When your Credential Assembly Service (LSDAS) file is complete and without financial holds, your report will be sent.
Ordering Law School Reports:
You will need to purchase a law school report ($12 each) for each law school to which you are applying. You will purchase the report when you submit your application to the school. The law school will request the report from LSAC. Note: We are unable to send law school reports at your request.
